Joash Is this the same as your first mode? what's the difference?

Yes. The mods in the first submission were developed using v1.07 of AOE III and therefore do not all function correctly with v1.08. In particular, all the Highlander changes do not function at all and the Jaeger upgrades do not appear. I have not tested it but the latest mods in v2 may be backwards compatible with v1.07 of AOE.

If you are running 1.07 of AOE, I would be interested to know if v2 does work correctly - that would make the first version redundant.

Changing the differnt levels is easy with the Install and Remove options in the installer.
paulson881 i would like to ask why do the highlanders (changed from LBs) still have the 17 ranged attack? Is the ranged attack of LBs hardcoded and cannot be changed??

I turns out the actual range is 12 and can be extended to 16 using the Scotts Guard card. I remember thinking about increasing that value but must have skipped the idea.

Even with a range of only 16, as a group the highlanders can be pretty devastaing. If you apply all the other upgrades, they get close to 900 hitpoints, which will make them quite formidable.

paulson881 I am sorry, but i think you misunderstood my question^^ What i mean is the ranged attack DAMAGE (it should be 63), not the RANGE (on my observation, there is no problem with range).

No problem. Yes it is still 63, I have not changed it. Are you seeing a problem, I am reluctant to make them mouch more powerful because that might create too much of an imbalance.
paulson881 it appears as 63 in yuor modded "proto.xml" file, but it appear 17 in the game and the damage effect is also 17.that is what i concerned.you should test all aspects of your mod in the game.try it.

Ok - I admit I am at a loss. Can you explain exactly what you do to see this value of 17.

I luve mods, but im just curious if ensemble will think im hacking the game and bann me off eso2 if i use mods?

I do not think so, if all players are running the same mods. They have not been tested in multiplayer mode, but I do know that a CRC Error will be generated if you are the only one using the mods. The installer is provided to make it easy to remove the mods when wanting to play online. If you do play with others using the same mods, please let me know if it works ok.
