this is the first in a line of tactics scenoiros this is my 1st one made so be nice... as u can see it is a field battle simulater with just troops and requires knowlage of battles
here is a little break down
To win either
kill all the officers and the 3 flag berriers that are grouped with the 3 lines
kill the general
here is how its seperated
the milita are on the right side of the formation they are skrimishers and are easy to kill and might brake and run early
The center line
the center line is the most important line if it is broken the enemy can just take out his cav and charge towards your general
these units are on the left and are very skilled they will not brake if their officer is killed
ranged cav good for assaulting the officers
the clean up crew
the general and his bodyguards
the general is the most important unit if he dies the whole game is lost
for decration only :)
cannons is all i have to say
basicly if u kill the officer of either of the lines (not the mercenaries or cav) they will run behind your general and not fire back but u can rally them back
you can do a bannet charge when the enemy has his back to u the perfect time to strike it also prevents cav from whiping out your divisions
This was way to easy, the enemy never had a chance - all you realy need to do to win is sit there and watch! The lines started out to close together.
From what I saw your soldiers outnumber the enemy and it takes no stratagy/skill to win.
LOVED the concept, very nice idea but it seems you put no effort into making an enjoyable map.
Map Design: 1
The map was Default size with Default grass texture - No Effort.
I didn't see any objectives or instructions at the begging. Only instructions to be found were on the download page - Lacks a readme.
The basic idea was cool and not overused in the AoE3 world at all. Changing from Default Grass would have been nice and you should have a readme and instructions ingame. Also a little capitalization and correct spelling in the renaming triggers could go a long way!
