• Third Mission

This mission is not too hard, it's just slightly time consuming, due to the different kind of start. You start with only a handful of units, one villager, a village, a war academy and a treasure ship. Start gathering the crates, starting with food and gold. Your aim is to produce a lot of standard armies. Get the few outlying treasures.

The natives will attack soon enough, but you should be able to take care of them. In this scenario, it's of importance to use the heroes' special attacks only against large groups of enemies, so don't waste them to take out just one or two units. Use your shipments for units or resources, depending on what you have in your deck. You should be able to take out the warhut that separates your treasure ship from another in west. The enemy will get reinforcements and you will lose units, but you'll eventually manage to get it down. After you get to the second ship, you'll get more units - only to end up fighting more natives. This is a good time to use the special attacks, too.

After these have been dealt with, you have a choice: either keep massing units and keep pushing, or build a town center to expand your economy. The latter choice is easier and faster. Whichever your preference is, you don't have to be fast in this scenario. Keep massing more steppe riders and Chu Ko Nu. After the second boat, you'll see a fork in the road. Leave some of your units there to guard the second ship and take the left route with most of your army. You'll see another warhut, which you can take out. There are also lots of resource crates - whichever approach you're using, gather them and continue onward with your whole army to the third ship.

There'll be another fight, which is hardly surprising. Keep on pushing, until you see a passage to west. There's another warhut and a bunch of resources, so go with most of your army to take it out. Once that has been dealt with, move onwards and you'll find some natives fighting your friends, who will join you. Help them out. Now you'll start fighting a lot of warhuts and units on the cliffs. This means that you can't properly use your cavalry anymore, so a good approach is to get your Chu Ko Nu units to the front, fighting the enemy and destroying the war huts with your hand mortars. Be careful, the enemy arrow knights are very good against artillery, so try hard to not get them destroyed.

Fight your way to the last ship, where you'll receive the final objective to destroy the native village. While you're destroying the center temple, the enemy will get a lot of units. Don't bother with them, you should have enough units to take out the building and finish the scenario.
