It was interesting seeing the Cross-Platform Multiplayer claim. I assume this is just MS Store and Steam editions cross-playing?

Aside from that, I just hope they don't make the UI "modernised" like they did with AoE1 Definitive Edition.

EDIT: I just watched some more videos about it. I'm not sold on the new UI, but it's not terrible.
Changes to the TWC civs' gold gathering mechanics sound like they might affect the game balance...
