2. I like what used to be called "Alternative" but is now aparently called "Indie". Hooray for meaningless labels!

A friend of mine started a band and he told he would be making indie and punk and I was like "WTF that are 2 whole different music styles" coz I though indie was hindi music from india...
he explained me that indie was some kind of idealistic rock or something...

Well by definition Indie is music that you play just to play and not bother to get rich nor famous for it. Its pretty much not trying to sell your sellout to the record companys.

We're not supposed to talk about that. It might suggest that a lot of idealistic teenagers currently busy saving the planet from capitalism, authoritarianism and global warming are having double-standards.

Well, Indie is independent so if they're making big money without a label then technically, they're still indie otherwise they're just d-bags.

Orphaned Land is kinda neat. A lot of misses, a few hits. Melechesh, not so much. Great riffs matched to lamo Fake Sumerian lyrics.
