Saffah, you`re@right! My very basic understanding of japanese tells me that is indeed the famed Windows 7-tan.
Sitting in an internet cafe at the moment, as the hotel I`m staying at in Kyoto doesn`t have a connection... I`m in the midst of a road train trip through western Japan and so far it has been a hit.
And oh, yeah, the weather here is nice.

Jax, Kyoto was nice, especially it's surroundings. I took a trip to mt. Kurama, an Buddhist temple from the 8th century, situated about twenty minutes by train from Kyoto. Very nice and relaxing, all you saw were mountains. Central Kyoto was insane, more so than Tokyo. I lived just next to Shijo street, probably the most crowded place on earth on a Saturday evening.
Right now I'm in Kobe, which is my favorite city so far. It might even be better than Tokyo. It seems like everything I love about Japan is here - the chaotic shopping districts, the cozy restaurants, the skyscrapers and the temples in between, the mountains and the sea and the hysteric clash of everything...

Also I would upload pictures but for some reason this hotel has blocked uploading, in some peculiar way. That means no FTP, no Flickr, no Photobucket. I wonder why...
In the mean time please ask me for all details regarding japanese robot toilets.
