UPDATE: Now in version 3 - fixed a forest placement bug. Map now has more trees.
This is the good version of the Dakotas contest entry. It has a full day-night cycle (not allowed in the contest), better lighting in general (sorry about the darkness :D), full artwork, and slight improvements.
Please spread this file around if you want to, rather than the original Dakotas entry, as this is probably more enjoyable.
I get lots of debugger hits when loading this map(as well as JDDakotas). For instance: mixedtreeID, mixedtrees2ID, lightgrassID and lightgrass2ID. Which means they probably don't work. Which is fine if you did it another way and just didn't take that part out and it is my problem for using debugger. But if you want that part to work, it is another story. It looks like you are making a group of things and I don't know how to do that so I don't have any suggestions. EDIT: I did notice that mixedtreesID and mixedtrees2ID have the same name and that lightgrassIDs fails with the avoidStartingStuff constraint.

Yeah, there are some debugger errors, mainly because I thought I had enabled the debugger for TWC when I hadn´t :)
However, the bugs have no real effect in the end, since I made the map with those bugs always there, so any nonplaced objects would have been deleted anyway. I believe many debugger errors also do not denote anything really bad actually happening, but rather lines I thought had to be there for objects but which the objects work just fine without.
I might fix the forest thingy though, especially since there might be a little too few trees on the map, thanks for that.
