Game Version: |
TAD |
# of Players: |
2 |
Player 1 starts with a big fortress supposing he is spain, and he needs to defend the fortress he starts with, otherwise he is dead and losses automatically.
Player 2 starts with a big army and a few extra villagers supposing he is brits, and he supposed to destroy the fortress.
Each player will receive powerful waves of units each 4 mins based on its civilization, and little reinforcements of units each 3.
Also game comes with cinematics, instructions, and 2 decks for each player.
The map style in which you start its a texas with a giant fortress at center.
The only problem is that since each one starts with a giant army at starts, the game laggs the first minutes.
Well, I hope you enjoy it!

Playability: 3
It laggs a bit, mostly at start
Also i dont like the fact that stockades with lancers are of mother nature and not of player 2... But I guess that if they were of p2 the lancers would just destroy em... but still it confuses a bit.
Also I didnt liked how soldiers of p2 moved forward instantly and no time to organize em, you could make em move slower...
Balance: 4
A few things need balance, like the fact that you can make revolt with spain with the politician of 10 imperial hussars when you get the wave of hussars, that would be a sure victory, or how p2 recieve extra villagers that have nothing to do with its civ.
Or how p2 depends on the falconets to win first battle, if you lose falconets, you lose battle, if you use em good, you probably win it.
Creativity: 4
The scenario isnt so creative, the idea of protect a fortress while come reinofrcements was already taken in campaign levels.
Map Design: 4
The scenario is basically a Texas map, you based your design in it, if you would be a bit more creative here, I would give you a 5, since overall its good and nice, I mostly liked the end when p1 losses.
Story/Instructions: 5
I liked the story and the cinematics, they were cool.
But most instructions were in objectives, after cinematics you just said the basic instructions, and to click in the objectives button for more instructions. But I guess that if you would explain all and everything after the story, it would be pretty boring and long, so with basic instructions its enough, and I give you a 5 here...
Addittional comment:
The map is good, I liked it, a 1vs1 in which a players attacks a fortress and the other defends it, with a story and cinematics. Its nice, but it got a few disadvantages, which I said previously.
