Japanese Flag-Mods

Author File Description
Magnum LR
File Details
Game Version: TAD
It seems that some People don't like the Original Flag Art of the Civilizations, so i made some other Designs of the Flags. Historical Correctness remains to be seen… ;)

In this Mod are different Designs for the Japanese.

Installation: Take the "Art"-Folder from the Design vou want and Compy it to your AoE3-Folder.

NOTE: These Mods won’t change the big background graphic in the Multiplayer-Menu.

Hope You Like it.

Bruce_Vu Excuse me but is that okay if my art file about 1.44Gb, and the mod only 228Kb?

That's Correct, because the Art-Files also contains the Other Graphics of the Games, like Textures, other UI-Elements etc.
These original Art-Files should be moved in the new Art-Folder when you replace the Original. Otherwise, you can also move the content of the modded Art Folder (named "objects" and "ui") in the original Art Folder. ;)
Medhood If u want to make ottoman flags i give you some pictures to follow by or get ideas from or hat ever

1. http://ib.frath.net/w/images/thumb/d/db/Early_ottoman_flag.GIF/180px-Early_ottoman_flag.GIF (i think this is there religious flag btw)

Yes, you can use them on Mac OS X, too. The path to put the folder content in is just another:
right-click the AoE3 application icon and select "show package content". Then go to "Contents > Resources > GameData > Art".

(Instead of replacing the whole "art"-folder, you have to put the modded files right in the existing art-folder because OS X will delete the existing files instead of just adding the new ones by "replacing" ;) )

It's kinda funny i have to tell this supplementary cause i did the whole Mods on Mac OS X :D
inukenoobs thank u so much it worked but for som reason in the skirmish i cant see the map of the map im picking and it dosent display the maps info when it loads
inukenoobs for the German flag mod u should add the polish flag to the mod. iam also wondering if u can have more than one moded flag at a time

hm, i guess the "random-maps" folder containing the Map Pics has been deleted while replacing. Look after that. ;)
I didn't find out yet how to make more flags for one culture, but maybe it's possible. I'm still trying to make that work.
Anyway, i'll note the polish Flags.
